2010 Dec Route--Corrected

This past weekend we went on our December

route. Three 10 hour days in a BIG Budget truck.

It's not much fun so me and momma try to find fun things

to do when we get out of the truck.

We stayed Saturday night in a nice motel with a HUGE

bed. I got to sleep on it! Ahhh felt so good after being

in that big truck for so long.

The motel was  decorated up

 really pretty for the holiday season.

I sat at the top of the steps.

 I really wanted to run down them

but there was two  people in white clothes

at the botton and guess what...

somene was taking their picture too!! 

The man in white had his picture taken with me by the

shiny snowmen. I tried to mark him with nice paw

prints but momma had a fit and scooped me up.

geeze would have looked nice.

Even though it was snowing 8" of snow at home.

It couldn't catch us driving down the road.

It tried but we kept going south and it finally gave up.

But Mr. Wind and Cool kept right up.

The big 5.....

Today, December 2, 2010

 I turn 5.

I am a big boy now.

Then why does momma keep saying I am her

little boy....

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Ike,  our resident Cardinal, was banging away at our window like usual.
Suddenly there was a similiar bang on the other window. Only louder!
I flew to the door to go out with momma right behind me.
And there was a downy wood pecker crumpled on the ground.
I was just about to grab it when I heard those most dreaded words,
"Leave it." Which means I can't touch it.
But whats she do,  she picks it up.
 Whats up with that? I cant, but she can???!!!

When momma picked it up and it didn't move a muscle. Its  little eyes were closed and
momma started crying. We sat in the sunshine and said good bye the little guy.
But, all of a sudden, one little eye popped open!

We was so excited.

I few minutes later, it moved one wing, then the other.

About 5 minutes later, it moved its feet and started to stand on momma hand.

It clung to her hand for about 10 minutes. Then finally flew from her hand to her shoulder.

Came back to her hand and looked her in the face. As if saying goodbye and thanks.
Then back to her shoulder. Climbed into her hair and then off to his family.

halloween. 2010 ................

Its that time of year again.

Momma busy with that silly camera.

 I had to sit next to the pumpkins.

Then stand on the pumpkins. 

All the time wearing a pumpkin!!

I figured it out,

if I just do what she says,

I get this dumb thing off quicker.

and get a treat!

My littermate brother, Gus!

 Saturday, Sept 25, I was at the park

when my littermate, Gus, came to visit!

It was great to see him again!

We were able to run and play in the park!

And I showed him the gopher patch I had found!

We had fun digging them out!

Lea... what a cutey!

Last weekend momma and me went with

Jill and Lea

 to Artic Blast, a JRT trial.

It was a very very long ride

and Jill drove ALL night!

Me and Lea became great friends.

 She is a 9 month old cutey!

We both raced and

looked for rats in three different events.

We brought home some ribbons

and Lots of great memories!

Look,  she came out first

and never gave up the lead!

That a girl!!!
