Wow for about 2 weeks now @zackRabbit's plusateer hasn't been feeling good.

Without the plushateer my friend @zackRabbit cant come out and play.

Me and Momma wanted to give the plushateer something to help her feel better.

Mom said chicken soup but but I won with choc chip cookies.

miss ya zack and plushateer!!!

I hopes you don't notice there is a few missing but I had to be sure they good enough for ya!

hi everyone!

If your wondering why I haven't been around much lately its cuz I been helping clean up trees that have falled in our yard from heavy snow this winter.

Plus there is a big section that just plain needed cleaning up!

Here are the first few piles pulled out and ready to be burned.

I am a big help! I run around and keep all the wildlife from disturbing mom while she pulls vines , rakes brush and leaves.

I even got to help dig out a big stump!!

It was great fun!

I love to dig more than anything. Thats why are yard looks like..

hmm mom calls it swiss cheese.

What ever that is...

but they never would have got it out, without my help . BOL.

Then, of course, I drove it load by load to the other side of the house to be burned.

We are a long ways from being done, but it looks nice and I got 4 new holes started.

Wonder how many more I can dig before this project is done?

Goodbye Winter!

Today is the last day of winter.

So I thought I better say goodbye

to the last of the winter snow.

Thought I best do it today,

as tommorrow we are suppose to get

spring snow.

Spring Snow??!!!!

what's up with that?!!!

St Patrick's Day..........

well today is St Patricks Day.

While I am not really Irish.

I like the idea of having good luck!

and of course, I love the idea of

dressing up in a new costume,

or pretending to be Irish for a day.

One estimate suggests that there are about 10 000 regular three-leaf clovers

for every lucky four-leaf clover.

So it may take awhile for me to find one...
Legend says that each leaf of the clover means something:

the first is for hope, the second for faith,

the third for love and the fourth for luck.

So as far as I can see it's worth looking for!

Sure sign spring is coming!!!

Just when you thought spring wasn't coming...

The tulips remind you, it IS!!

March 16, and they came right up thru the snow,

and growing fast now that the snow is gone!

I think I will keep my eye on them!

The other day I was reading our local newspaper when I came across an interesting article about the HSUS.
It is written by a man we know and admire.
Jim Sacia, Illinois State Representative.

Its a long article. Too long to actually reprint it all here in my blog.

In fact, less than one-half of 1 percent of its $100 million budget gets into the hands of local pet shelters. You who read this are, like me, animal loving people. How does it feel to know that if you donate $200 to this alleged caring agency, $1 gets into the hands of local pet shelters? If it makes you feel anything other than mad I’d be shocked. These are the least animal loving people I have ever come up against. Sadly, they make fools out of you and me and their clever ads get deep into our pockets. It’s big business folks, and they know how to take care of their own at your expense."
