Dr.Suess Birthday Party!!

On March 2, Dr Suess would be having a birthday.

ZackRabbit and I were taking a walk one day when:

There is a poster on a tree

advertising a pawpawty.

Dr Suess is the birthday boy,

Over the years, he's brought great joy.

Off we strolled to join the group,

and down the path, we did troop.

Ground Hog Day.....

Yesterday was Feb 2.

Ground Hog Day.

I was so excited, it was snowing,

no way was he gonna see his shadow!

(meaning spring will come early)

But the official Ground Hog lives a long ways away.

I went to be there.

I got dressed up and fooled the little critter.

I caught him!

But....

he still saw his shadow!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

6 more weeks of winter

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr now as a terrier,

Just what shall I do with this critter?????
